We were pleased to support the Brit Theatre Groups production of Gothic Horror which took place at Grange Theatre in Oldham, with the provision of a Victorian looking coffin. Songs old and new from Broadway and West End musicals were performed with special guest Rodney Cadd (a former pupil of Blue Coat School Oldham) and Czech Opera Singers Pavel Kobrle and Vanda Sipova.
As a tutor in funeral directing and embalming, Clive was pleased to welcome a newly qualified doctor from Leeds University, to gain an insight into his work with Kenyon International Emergency Services where Clive is an associate member helping in the aftermath of disasters, and to learn how deceased are looked after once in our care.
Funeral Director Clive Pearson was part of a music group playing the keyboard for a Taize service at St. Mary’s Church, Wilshaw. This was a soothing and reflective service celebrating Easter within the parish.

On his travels around Honley the Easter Bunny hopped into the pre school to visit the children and deliver a large chocolate egg to all. The Easter bunny was asked if he could do the floss and he was very pleased to give a demonstration to show that he could.
