St. James’ Slaithwaite Memorial Tree

We were pleased to be asked to support St James’ Church, Slaithwaite this year by providing their memorial Christmas tree. It took pride of pace at the front of the church and was filled with memorial cards throughout the festive season.

Pearson Funeral Service

A well travelled tree

When the local junior school broke up for Christmas, they had a huge Christmas tree in the hall which they weren’t sure what to do with. They noticed we had a large space at the front of our premises and asked if we would like to use their tree which we were delighted to do.

Christmas Service Wilshaw

Today saw the final church for the arrival of our hand crafted Christmas Tree. In case you haven’t read about this tree before, it was hand made by Clive’s dad Peter Pearson and has visited Meltham Methodist Church, Trinity Church Honley and now St. Mary’s Church, Wilshaw where it will stay until after the festive season.

A wonderful village Christmas carol service took place at St. Mary’s Church with the church choir singing an African Noel and the congregation singing Christmas carols which included While Shepherds Watched to the tune on Ilkley Moor Ba Tat. Clive Pearson played the organ which was enjoyed by all.
