Repatriation to Ireland

At Pearson Funeral Service along with traditional funerals we also specialise in repatriation to and from the United Kingdom. This can seem like a daunting process, which can be made easier in just one simple phone call to ourselves.

We take care of everything including all the legal documentation, once everything is in place for the journey, we personally take your loved one to their final destination wherever this may be across the Irish Sea.

Covid 19 Funeral Update 31st July 2020

As we wake up this morning to the news of localised lockdown restrictions we thought we would update you on what is happening with funerals in our area.

Huddersfield Crematorium – Funerals are taking place with only 10 mourners allowed in the chapel. Due to ongoing problems with cremators, bereavement services are only offering a limited amount of times through the day. Only two pieces of music are allowed in the service. Face masks are not mandatory.

Parkwood Crematorium – Funerals are taking place with 20 mourners allowed in the chapel with a further 8 standing in the entrance lobby. Three pieces of music are allowed in the service. Face masks are not mandatory.

Church – Not all churches are open for funerals, the ones that are have numbers limited to the size of the building. In some churches face masks are required to be worn whilst in the building. When arranging a funeral in a church we will be able to advise on the numbers allowed.

On entering and leaving all services, hand sanitiser which is provided must be used.

Limousines – We can still offer limousines, on entering the vehicle everyone will be provided with hand sanitation and face masks must be worn whilst traveling.
