Marsden Infants Remembrance

We were pleased to attend the act of remembrance with Marsden Infant and Nursery School at the Cenotaph in Marsden, where the children were extremely well behaved and a credit to the school.

St. Mary’s Wilshaw

We were pleased to attend the moving memorial service at St. Mary’s Church, Wilshaw where one the congregation told us about the history of one of their relatives through the 2nd world war. Meltham British Legion were in attendance and a wreath was laid at the memorial inside the church.

Pule Hill Memorial

November 9th saw the Pearson family attending the annual service and laying of the wreath at the memorial cross on Pule Hill, Marsden. The service was well attended and the weather although cold and windy was sunny and dry.

We were pleased to sponsor and attend the Holmfirth Choral Society’s concert of Alexander’s Feast at Holmfirth Parish Church. The concert was well attended and the soloists Anna Prosser, Andrew McAllister and Edward Robinson sounded wonderful accompanied by the Valley Sinfonia, Malcolm Hinchliffe on the Organ and Geoffrey Lockwood as conductor.
